Clone Node Reference module

Extending the Node Clone module (contributed on Drupal.org), this module allows the cloning of all referenced nodes found attached to the cloned piece of content.

An admin interface allows for you to choose even more bits and pieces - during the cloning process, you can have a referenced piece of content converted into another content type. Handy stuff for manipulating content types. Now free for you to use however you wish!

Compatible with: Drupal 6.x
Dependencies: node_clone, nodereference, nodereferrer

Hello ,

I really need this module for my site

I have installed the module but i am not able to get it working

Can you describe how to set the configuration in the admin interface of clone module?

Thank your for your help

Hi there,

There isn't much to configuring this module. The admin interface allows you to choose what content type you wish the other content type to be cloned to, and then what node references you wish to have cloned also.

As long as Node Clone module is installed you shouldn't have any issues - make sure you check your permissions on the content types as well as the node reference and cck fields.

Hello,

I have check permission of clone module in admin/user/permissions

There is two options : clone node and clone own nodes i have check both for authenticated user

I have content type A with two nodereferences : inside B and D

When i clone A its works i have a new node A1 but thes nodereferences B and D is not cloning

Yesterday i 'm using Node clone 6.x-1.3 but no results

Today i have downgrade node clone in 6.x-1.x-dev version but i 'am not able to get nodereference inside my node cloning

Have i missing something in checking permissions ?

Thank you very much for your feed back

Ok,

I made some changes in function clone_noderef_nodeapi (& $ node, $ op, $ a3 = NULL, $ a4 = NULL) of clone_noderef.module and it works like charm

:-)

Now i'm able to duplicate nodereference inside node

But basically it doesnt work because i don't use a nodereferer field

Thank you for the awesome module

For our case we required use of the Node Referrer module so we could trace back routes between the node reference fields.

I'm glad you've been able to adjust things for your own use!

Hi, at this stage no, quite simply because the developer who wrote the module is unavailable to maintain it.

Sorry about this, if there is someone out there who wants to maintain this module please just get in touch using the contact form.

I can confirm though that this module is used extensively on a production site and has been thoroughly tested.

I have also commented on the referenced drupal.org thread :)

Cheers,

Steve
